We are looking for a reliable, professional, personable Medical Office Assistant for our busy medical office for 4 days per week (approx. 30hr/wk). The medical office assistant is responsible for front-of-house operations. The job involves being the interface between the community and our 8 physicians. Day-to-day the job includes administrative tasks, computer based daily operations, communicating with patients, booking appointments, supporting the physicians, and filing. The position requires a highly professional individual who is patient, compassionate and enjoys a high paced work environment. Successful applicants will be comfortable with technology, able to multi task and are comfortable handling sensitive information confidentially.
Required education: high school diploma with 2 years administrative experience. Medical office experience is a plus, but not required. Successful Medical Office Assistants possess strong organizational skills and are excellent at time management.
