We are looking for a temporary Medical Office assistant to provide coverage for Maternity leave. The Hours would be Wednesday to Friday 8-4pm with additional hours if needed.
A medical office assistant is responsible for providing day-to-day support operations by performing administrative tasks and ensuring high-quality customer service to patients. Medical office assistants manage both the front and back of the office, including support for our GP’s, scheduling, patient communication, and filing. Additionally, medical office assistants are expected to handle sensitive information confidentially.
A high school diploma along with 2 years administrative experience is required for a medical office assistant role. Additionally, medical office experience is a plus. Successful medical office assistants possess strong organizational skills and are excellent at time management.
