Beddis or Bedlam? Navigating the Wild West of Yield Lanes

Can anyone help me make sense of the Beddis Rd and Fulford Ganges Rd intersection? I’m new around here, and while I mostly bike, I drive too. Every time I try to head south onto Fulford Ganges from Beddis, I almost get clipped by cars coming down the northbound yield ramp. I swear, this can’t be right—it feels like a recipe for disaster.
Here’s how I see it: that yield lane should be for cars leaving Beddis, not for south-bound traffic from Ganges to swing into Beddis with no warning. Plus, there’s no sign telling drivers (on Beddis) going straight or left that despite the engineering of the road, they DON'T have the right of way despite normal intersection cues.
Am I totally off-base here, or is this intersection just asking for trouble?
