For many years I co-owned and operated Salt Spring Kayak and Cycle. You would know me as the 'kayak guy' on the wharf at Fulford Harbour introducing people to the world of ocean kayaking. I am grateful to have made Salt Spring Island my home for more than 38 years. I am past president of the Chamber of Commerce and a founding Director of the Salt Spring Institute for Sustainability, Education and Action [I-SEA]. With a degree in Art History, I am a practicing artist and the past president of the Salt Spring Gallery.
