On Sunday, July 19, 2026 —the first time Salt Spring Island Pride has held its parade on a Sunday—our streets will come alive with colour, music, laughter, reflection, and celebration. Moving to Sunday places Queer and Trans joy at the centre of Pride weekend while improving accessibility in Ganges throughout the weekend.
Whether you march, cheer from the sidewalk, decorate a wagon, carry a sign, volunteer, bring your family, or simply arrive as yourself, your presence matters. Pride is at its best when the whole community comes together in support, celebration, and solidarity.
The parade musters at the United Church Meadows beginning at 12:30 PM, with the parade stepping off at 1:00 PM.
But the celebration doesn't end there!
After the parade winds its way through Ganges, join us at the Pride Street Party from approximately 1:30 to 4:30 PM just off McPhillips Avenue behind the Salt Spring Island Public Library.
Hosted by Vivian Vanderpuss, the street party will feature DJ TRiiKSTR spinning dance tracks, along with drag performances, live music, and the Pride Marketplace.

Kele-Matty - Kele Fleming & Matthew Presidente
Kele Fleming & Matthew Presidente
Vancouver-based artist Matthew Presidente blends piano-driven songwriting with dark electronic textures, cinematic synths, and visceral pop hooks. His live shows balance intimacy and pulse, creating something both cathartic and communal. Praised by Xtra Magazine as “one of the best singer/songwriters in our LGBT scene,” he's been a standout on Pride stages across BC and Alberta.
Kele Fleming is the distinct love child of Linda Perhacs and Ani DiFranco. She’s 70’s psychedelic, feministic, intelligent—quoting Darwin and Foucault mid song. Kele’s dynamic vocals range from choir girl naivete to raging Sinéad O'Connor. Profound lyrics that are like calls to action, angry at humanity’s sad state of affairs. Together, Kele and Matthew are a powerhouse duo singing their hearts out for love and the betterment of our world. July 2026 will see them on the road together again on their Golden Hour Tour.
