What an incredible day of learning, connection, and community! With more than 50 people registered, our recent SkillShare event was a wonderful success, and we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make it possible.
First, thank you to all of the participants who brought all kinds of treasures needing attention in, but especially your curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to share ideas helped create a welcoming atmosphere where new skills, knowledge, and connections could flourish.
With workshop sizes intentionally limited to just eight participants, participants enjoyed hands-on learning and meaningful interaction with instructors. Topics ranged from Home, Furniture, Electronic or Bike Repair Basics to Zipper Hacks, Sewing and Sharpening, demonstrating the remarkable depth of knowledge and practical skills that exist within our community.
Thank you to all the inspirational people who brought this event to life. From the organization to the skilled, kind, and talented workshop leaders who generously shared their knowledge and passion, your contributions made the day truly special.

A special thank you to:
Howard Baker, Amy Baumann, Blair Carley, Natasha Kong, Bob Mackie, Patricia Nichols, Steve New, Mary Richardson, Andria Scanlan, Martin Thorn, Jason Tron, Grace Wampold, and Terri Wylie.
Your time, energy, creativity, and commitment helped create an event that strengthened community connections and demonstrated the power of learning from one another.
We are also deeply grateful to our generous sponsors and supporters: CRD, Windsor Plywood, Country Grocer, Mouat’s Home Hardware, and Francis Bread. Your contributions helped make the event welcoming, accessible, and successful.
Thank you for believing in the value of community-based learning and skill-sharing. Events like these remind us that some of the most valuable resources we have are the knowledge, talents, and generosity of our neighbours.
We couldn't have done it without you.
