We are excited to announce this year’s Salt Spring Pride Festival from July 16 to 19th!
Our theme this year is “Salt Spring Island Pride: Rooted in Community.” Pride is an opportunity to celebrate and uplift our local and regional 2SLGBTQIA+ community while strengthening the connections that make Salt Spring such a special place to live. By deepening our roots together, we can grow a more welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant community for everyone.
Whether you identify as 2SLGBTQIA+, are a family member, friend, neighbour, ally, local business, community organization, or simply someone who believes everyone deserves to belong, we invite you to join us. Pride is at its best when the whole community comes together in support, celebration, and solidarity.
Weekend highlights include:
Thursday July 16 at 7pm
Parade: Queer Acts of Love and Resistance film screening co-presented by DAISSI and our host for the evening, the Salt Spring Island Public Library.
