    Lindsay Whalen is a Certified Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist with 36 years of experience. She is Certified with Yoga Alliance (YA) and the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).
    Lindsay offers public classes, private yoga therapy, yoga for teachers and yoga for meditation.


    “Yoga is universal and a reflection of the extraordinary range and healing capacity for movement, balance and stillness. Yoga can be experienced at any stage of life. By creating a safe, supportive atmosphere in which each person can develop inner awareness, theses classes can be joyful and accessible to all regardless of age or ability.”

    Small classes allow emphasis on adapting and modifying poses to address specific areas of concern for the individual. Strength, stability, flexibility (full range of motion), balance, breath awareness and deep relaxation offer each person an integrated yoga practice.

    Winter Term – January 18 – March 22 (10 weeks)
    Cedar Lane Studio
    – Mornings and Evenings
    – Monday to Thursday

    *New Class – Saturday morning class for meditators.*

    – Beginner Level – this class offers chair yoga for those with little or no experience looking for a basic beginner class.

    – Experienced – Levels 1 and 2 – for those with one year or more of yoga experience from any discipline.

    – Teacher Training – Ongoing Learning – this class is for those with ERYT 200, 500 or 1000 hour certificate, who wish to deepen their understanding of Yoga as Therapy.

    – Yoga for Meditation – this class addresses problems that arise from a daily practice of sitting..an example of which is postural alignment and the breath.
