Earth Day Celebration in Centennial Park 2018 invites volunteers, performers, and vendors to get involved and make this year’s family-friendly event a huge success.

Mark your calendar for some eco-friendly fun on Sunday, April 22 in Centennial Park, and come be a part of this free community celebration of the our connection to nature and discover innovative ways to reduce our household and community carbon footprint. The free entertainment program features live music, yoga, and programs for kids including nature-based crafts, fort-building, and face-painting.

Organizers are seeking volunteers to help with the event planning and on the Sunday of the event. We also need musicians, performers, artists, vendors, and local groups that want to showcase their talents, with anything from a temporary art installation, a market or informational booth, singing, helping kids make crafts, and any other creative fun idea you’d like to share.

Please contact Alex Lyons or Elizabeth FitzZaland at EarthDayCentennialPark@gmail.com to find out how you can be a part of a fun and inclusive team of volunteers.

Let’s come together as a community to honour and celebrate our beautiful planet!
