    Item Description:

Do you enjoy singing or playing classical music? Bach on the Rock Chamber Choir and Orchestra is looking for new members, particularly singers (SATB) and string players.

The main purpose of the Bach on the Rock Chamber Choir and Orchestra is to encourage the appreciation of classical music on Salt Spring Island, and to provide both performers and listeners with opportunities to enjoy live performances of classical music. We welcome musicians of all ages. We perform four concerts per year, and hold rehearsals on Sunday afternoons at the United Church in Ganges.

We are looking for sopranos, altos, tenors and basses, and string players – particularly violins, but violas and cellos welcome to audition. If you are interested in joining us, please send an email to bachontherock1@gmail.com and we will get back to you. We expect high standards of musical preparation and diligence, and interested musicians will be required to audition for our Artistic Director.

More information about Bach on the Rock can be found at http://www.bachontherock.com.
