    Item Description:

Need a couple of weeks to finish that novel, get away from it all, have some quiet time on your own? An island holiday if you live on the mainland? Or just something to tide you over until something more permanent is available.

Very spacious and lovely 2 bedroom main floor suite on private property is available for sublet from February 18 – March 1, 2018.

Bedroom has a queen size bed and currently has a very efficient sewing area right now, but that could also be used for something else creative. It’s a large clean surface.

Second bedroom is set up as a guest room/office but could be used as a full time bedroom. There is also some portable exercise equipment in there that could be used.

Living room/dining room is open and bright, great for dinner parties. Even has a piano. Kitchen is big and fully equipped with tons of counter space. Living room has a pullout queen size couch and flat screen TV with cable and netflix.

The property is located just off Fulford Ganges Rd across from Blackburn Lake, right on the bus route, very centrally located. By car it’s 5 minutes into Ganges where there are lots of restaurants, shops and other services. It’s about 7 minutes to the Fulford ferry, which takes you to Victoria, 15 minutes to Long Harbour which takes you to Vancouver and 15 minutes to Vesuvius which also takes you to Vancouver Island but further north than Victoria. Closer to Duncan and Nanaimo or ski country up island around Courtenay.

On the island we have a movie theatre, a soft seat theatre and several concert series that run through the winter. Never a shortage of things to do. Or just sit home by the fire and relax.

Wifi and cable are hooked up. There is only spotty cell service on the property, but a land line is provided with unlimited long distance within Canada. There is parking for one vehicle and one guest parking spot.

The road the house is on is across from the Salt Spring Conservancy which is a beautiful hiking area. Lots of other great hiking on the island as well.

If you want more information and/or would like to set up a time to go see it, please call or text me at 250-538-8798. I am currently out of town but someone could meet you there.
