My name is Sky and my Fiancé Ash and I have recently accepted full time, long term, employment working within youth care services on Salt Spring Island. With our new employment on SSI we are excited for our next chapter in such a lovely, magical place and are seeking a space to call home.
Our employer has an office/home on SSI that we can use as partially shared accommodation in the interim (May 1st forward), but as we are a couple looking to settle down we are deeply seeking a space of our own. We are looking to pay $1500 but are willing to pay more for the right place. We are extremely flexible on the start of a tenancy (later months) but ideally would love to find something as soon as possible.
We are in our early 30’s and are a kind, clean, considerate, respectful, down to earth and non-smoking couple who love spending our free time adventuring and playing outdoors. We have lived together on beautiful Vancouver Island for the past 5 years and have just returned from a year abroad teaching children in South Korea. We have a beautiful 4 year old fur baby named Gambit, who is a Golden Retriever Cross. He has an excellent demeanor, quiet, is extremely friendly, great with kids and sociable. We have an excellent reliable vehicle that can get us anywhere on the island.
If we sound like we would be a good tenancy fit for your property or for someone you know please contact us! : )
We can easily be reached on here via email and if you would like to speak to us directly we are happy to arrange a phone call at your earliest convenience.
We have excellent references available upon request and we thank you for your time and consideration.
Sky and Ash :)

Salt Spring property owners have had the opportunity to review and vote upon a number of proposals for a replacement of the Ganges Fire Hall. All have been defeated but it’s time to look a little more closely at the reasons for the proposals and the reasons for the defeat. The Ganges Fire Hall has […]
Is there a risk that foreign powers will try to influence our 2019 Fire Board Trustee election? The good news is: Absolutely not. Nobody outside of Salt Spring Island really cares how we structure and manage our fire service. But this also shows how uniquely isolated we are as an island. While the Crofton Fire […]
