You are invited …

… to submit a poster to become part of a “Giant Book of Horse Tales” created by horse enthusiasts of Salt Spring Island!

The posters will be featured at the Fall Fair HORSES September 12 and 13th, then saved for future interest and display.

Even if you don’t own a horse, the idea is for you to cover a poster board in personal horse memories, achievements, pictures, stories, artwork; anything that you would like to share, relating to your passion for equines!

The example shown here features one beloved pony, but you could feature past or present horses, ponies, mules or donkies, or your own experiences. If you are young or old; make it fun, serious, simple or complex .. just be sure the pictures are copies and not precious originals, as we would like to keep the posters!

The fair theme is “Something to Neigh About!” so please be proud and share!

Buy any colour standard poster board (Pharmasave has them!) 20” x 25 1/2”Submit as many as you like!

Drop your completed posters for GIHA to collect, at The Driftwood Office, 241 Fulford Ganges Rd, in AUGUST please; before the Fair! Open hours are Mon to Thurs, 9 - 4 and Fri 9 - 12. (Please message me when you’ve dropped off a poster!) & Please tell your friends about this!
