We are talking about A Girl Called Echo Vol. 1: The Pemmican Wars by Katherena Vermette (Illustrated by Scott B. Henderson & Donovan Yaciuk); a YA graphic novel about a Metis teen who can travel back in time to learn about her culture and history.
