    Item Description:

    Dear Salt Spring Residents

As someone who has had many a dear-loved pet (including cats [one with diabetes who required insulin], dogs, horses, rabbits, birds and aquatics), and has also travelled widely, I understand the difficult decision to either bring pets along or leave them at home. “If only there was someone I could trust to love and care for them that wouldn’t cost a fortune” (as well as my home and property).

If you can relate to what I’m saying and are considering a pet and/or house sitter, I welcome a meeting so we can assess our mutual suitability.

I have lived on Salt Spring on and off since 2000, working in various capacities from farm and landscape to health and human services. In my interim life outside Salt Spring I worked professionally as an addiction therapist before going on sabbatical to practice with a spiritual master.

In addition to caring for your important places and pets, I am available for certain requests such as, but not limited to, personal shopping and other light duties.

I have excellent references, a reliable vehicle and am bondable. Please be assured your privacy and discretion are of utmost importance to me.

One request I have is no wood burning stoves as the sole source of heat.

Please contact me to discuss your needs if I may be of service.

    Thanks :)

    Ashtar
