Waterfront Gallery is seeking a friendly part time sales person to work Saturdays and to fill in on week days when required.
Waterfront Gallery is an established and successful not-for-profit shop that has represented the juried work of local artisans and makers for almost 50 years.
The successful candidate will work independently and will be responsible for opening and closing the store.
The position involves:
- customer service and sales including handling cash and processing payments via a point of sale terminal
-maintaining displays and restocking products as needed
-receiving and processing artisan products
-light house keeping and some heavy lifting
Basic computer skills required.
Knowledge of local craft scene an asset.
$23 /hour to start and staff discounts
