|Full Name||Dr. Hannah Webb, ND|
|Location||130 McPhillips Ave, Salt Spring Island, BC V8K 2T5|
The smoke has been bad out there this week! With reports that Vancouver and surrounding areas have the worst air quality in the world at the moment, I know many of you are feeling the impact -- especially those of you who work outdoors or have pre-existing lung conditions.
I’d like to offer our community some extra support during this time. I am offering specific lung-health focussed acute visits + treatment. Visit will include focussed intake, physical exam (if in-person), and treatment plan. Recommendations to support lung health may include a customized herbal tincture, nutrients to support lung health, as well as a discussion of general strategies to protect your health and lungs at this time.
Additionally, I am newly offering nebulized glutathione in the office. This is an inhaled antioxidant treatment which helps to repair oxidative damage in the lungs, and is used for treatment for lung conditions ranging from asthma, cystic fibrosis, emphysema, and more. Studies show wildfire smoke exposure depletes glutathione naturally found in the lungs, and I see good clinical improvement by using nebulized glutathione in patients affected who are affected by the smoke.
Acute care appointments are currently done via telemedicine (phone or video conference). In-person visits are available on an as-needed basis. Tinctures or other supplements are available for pick-up Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (off-hours pickups can be arranged).
Lung Focused Acute Visit: $120 (online or in-person)
Lung Focused Acute visit + Nebulized Glutathione add-on: $165 (must be an in person visit)
More about Acute Care Appointments:
Acute care visits are always available through my naturopathic medical practice. Acute care appointments are great for patients who have a single immediate concern, but aren’t in need of a full health intake and assessment. These appointments are helpful for single concerns such as a cold, flu, seasonal allergies, or other non-emergency health challenges.
While naturopathic medicine with Dr. Webb is ideally suited to comprehensively assess the interconnected aspects of your health to holistically address the root cause of your health concerns, naturopathic medicine is also available as an alternative to a conventional doctor visit for more pressing concerns like these.
Available online at https://app.outsmartemr.com/online-booking/2180 or by emailing email@example.com
Also available by phone at (250) 999-9371. Please leave a message if there is no answer -- we will get back to you within 24 hours, Mon-Fri.
A note about COVID-19 precautions:
In order to protect vulnerable patients and our community, for the time being appointments will be conducted via video on a secure online telemedicine platform or by phone. Exceptions will be made to provide physician exams and any essential in-person treatments. If you do not have access to a device that allows for this, let us know so we can arrange to accommodate you.
