    Item Description:

    Hello Saltspring Islanders,

We are a couple who have recently moved to the Island and are in search of a long term, unfurnished (or partially furnished ), and self-contained rental to settle in to from Feb.1st and onwards. We could also consider a later move in date if nothing is available for February.
It’s just the two of us, no children or pets, so we don’t need much. Small and cozy works just fine.
We are quiet, respectful, creative, and open minded, and although we consider ourselves social and community driven, we also enjoy our privacy, so we are not looking for a shared accommodation, and a private kitchen and bathroom are preferred.
We are also pretty handy and are happy to help out with any maintenance and/or yard work if needed.
We will eventually buy a little vehicle, however for the time being we are exploring the island on foot, so we are hoping to find something near town or even just close to a bus route. Having said that we are quite active and always up for an adventure, so we would even consider a more remote location.
If you are looking for great tenants to love and respect your home and your beautiful island, or know of anyone else who could be then please feel free to reach out for a chat, or with any questions at all.
Email may be best as service seems to be a bit spotty but please feel free to call as well.

We hope to chat with you soon!

Did you hear the heavy rumbling and shaking tonight around 7:35 PM? At first we though it might be an earthquake. We could hear it first but also feel it even though there was nothing shaking. Then thought maybe it was testing at the Canadian Forces Maritime Experimental and Test Ranges (CFMETR) in Nanoose Bay. […]
