“I contacted Timea Design Cabinetry to update my 1980’s kitchen in my 1970’s house. I’m so pleased with the result! The main comment from my friends was “Wow, this kitchen should appear in a magazine!” Rita and Mike responded quickly and listened to what I wanted and stayed within my budget. Rita prepared plans and I was easily able to discuss ideas, suggestions and changes with her. Once the plans were in place the renovations became much more of a whole house project. The project included updating plumbing, electrical, painting and a new hardwood floor throughout the main level. Mike was agreeable, gave us good ideas and was able to listen and act on our suggestions. Working on an older house provides some challenges but Rita, Mike and team were able to problem solve them. The end result is a bright, airy functional kitchen and home, that I and my family will be able to enjoy for many years. Thanks to Timea Design Cabinetry for making it happen! I’m thinking of remodeling the bathroom/laundry room and I would use the Timea Design Team again without hesitation!”- Leslie Jo Stubbe Salt Spring Island

Carry right on planting anything that tolerates or thrives in cool weather: cabbage/mustard family plants, onions and leeks, lettuces and leafy greens, peas, broad beans, carrots, beets, parsnips. A note about parsnips: make sure you sow fresh seed (packaged for this year). Parsnips seeds are only viable for a year or so. Parsnips germinate best […]
