Hi, my name is Josh Funfer and I can hardly believe that it has been over a year since I first opened my holistic counselling practice, called “Eyes of Love Psychotherapy,” here on Salt Spring Island!

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and an adjunct Professor, trained in Integral Counselling Psychology.

If you are ready to look within, heal the wounds in your heart, and grow both personally and spiritually, it would be my great joy to support you. I still have a few slots open in my practice and I hold sessions both online and in-person at my office in Ganges.

I am here to help you look with compassion and gentle curiosity at every aspect of your experience that longs to be seen - from your anxiety, doubts, and insecurities, to your deepest desires and passions. Together we can learn to view yourself and the world around you through eyes of love.

It is amazing what you can discover when you have the time and space, 1 hour a week, to deeply explore your inner world with someone who truly cares. This self-discovery can open the way to be present, free, and alive. This life is so much richer when you can fully show up to meet each moment. So, let’s meet them together.

To briefly summarize: my approach is holistic, relational, and based on cultivating self-awareness and self-acceptance. I am trained in mindfulness-based Somatic therapy, Gestalt therapy, and Depth therapy. Above all, I want to help you connect with your heart. The only way I can do that is to meet you with my heart open and follow your lead.
