Timely selections, diversity in tempos, subtle to vast, variance in styles and shades from utter darkness to blindingly light is what makes Matsya’s sets unique and tastefully unpredictable. From atmospheric ambience to current dance beats and sound design, Matsya’s refined palette does not go unnoticed. For over a decade now, he has been involved from the ground up with festivals and events where he has been playing Dj sets for yearly meetings. Shambhala Music Festival, Bass Coast, The Field, Luminosity Gathering, Diversity Festival, Motion Notion and more have witnessed his eclectic musical journeys.

Boom Human mixes future bass, psydub, tribal and other sexy, bassy midtempo sounds and accompanies with a modified 10-string Chapman Stick – which he uses to play synth bass and other sounds live. Boom has been a musician for 30 years. He has composed soundtracks for radio, TV and film and was an early adopter of Atari and then Mac-based music sequencing and digital audio workstations in the 80s. Boom Human has performed across North America at clubs, festivals and other events on the east and west coasts. He has played prominent Burning Man sound stages and art cars since 2013 and has appeared with acts like Desert Dwellers, Phutureprimitive, Random Rab, Deya Dova and Beats Antique.

10:00p to 11:30p: GEO - Progressive and melodic house & techno - Unison/Friends & Family

A long time fan of disco, dub, electronic music, funk, hip-hop, and new wave, Geo got his start in the San Francisco underground electronic music scene. In 1998, he began performing under the name Stardragon, filling chill spaces with a collage of ambient dub, acid jazz, trip-hop, glitch-hop, world music, and ambient trance. Later, performing as Star-D, he moved onto the dance floor, spinning breaks and house with a progressive and funky feel. Today Geo weaves many styles of house: deep, progressive, melodic, and tech, together with techno, indie dance, and nu-disco.
