Transforming Heartbreak
7 week in person Grief Support Group beginning October.
If you are going through the heart-wrenching loss of the death of a loved one, you know how hard it can be to navigate your way through the phases of grief. Waves of sadness, anger and loneliness can buffet you for months and even years.
Grief is a natural response to loss. It is the emotional suffering felt when something or someone you love is no longer a part of your earthly reality.
Where there is grief, there is love.
In these 7 small support gatherings you can expect to:
Receive gentle guidance and support within a safe container.
Understand normal grief.
Cultivate compassion for yourself.
Learn and experience how loss can serve as a portal for healing.
Engage with a small circle of fellow travellers, companions through the landscape of loss.
Time: 1-3pm
Location: Star of the Sea Centre, across from the Fulford Hall
Date: Beginning the week of October 9th and continuing until the week of November 20th.
Day of the week to be arranged according to majority of the participants’ availability.
