2026 Gardening Workshops at Stowel Lake Farm

We are excited to be launching another set of workshops. Our workshops this year follow the growing season on the west coast, focusing on the practical skills of growing nutrient rich food, building healthy soil, and increasing ecological diversity in your home garden. Through demonstrations, and hands on experience we hope that you feel more confident to grow more of your own food.

Who are these workshops for?
Anyone who wants to garden in a more holistic and effective way.
New gardeners in need of help, with the foundations of food growing
Experienced gardeners looking for solutions to their growing challenges, and how to refine and increase their production etc.

These workshops can also be taken individually but will also build on each other nicely.

All workshops are 10 - 3 with a break for lunch. Please bring your own packed lunch, snacks and water with you. We will provide tea & cookies.

Please dress appropriately for the weather, we will be going ahead rain or shine.

June 7 - Growing a Winter Vegetable Garden
Sept 20 - Preparing the Garden for Next Season
