    Item Description:

I am an European trained gardener and horticulturalist with several decades of West coast and Island experience. I can offer quality garden service from designing to planting, pruning, dividing, renovating, and beyond. I can consider teeny tiny temporary tasks to the most vitally vivid visions. I am seasoned with both ornamentals, and edibles and enjoy the synergy of the edible, permaculture inspired, landscape. I have trained as a biodynamic gardener and have some understanding of the forces at play in the garden.

As a semi retired teacher and performing artist I bring a creative eye and a well seasoned imaginative will to our work. I also enjoy working with my clients and families to coach and co create what I call a narrative landscape where the human and otherwise worlds together author a happy home .

As a youthful grampa I enjoy all ages of clients and co helpers and offer a workable sliding scale that reflects Salt Spring’s eclectic social demographic. My base rate is 33/hr but I will happily consider far lower rates ( to 15/hr) knowing that for balance there are those who can and do pay far more. Please, please, do not hesitate to ask. I am here to serve.

And , being naturally sanguine, I am also available for professional storytelling and selective tutoring.

And, yes. Of course I talk with the plants :)

    Growingly yours,
    Eric.

    Eric Janoz Gordon M.Ed ,
Roots and Wings Garden care and design.
