More than ever this year is the year to get a flu shot to reduce demand on our Health Care facilities and workers.

You will be required to book an appointment to receive the Flu Vaccine this year.
Our options for booking an appointment are as follows:
-Online: this is the preferred method of booking.

-By phone: please call the store at 250-538-0323 to make an appointment for a flu shot, if you have questions about the online process or are unable to book.
You will be required to fill out the Vaccine Consent Form prior to your appointment.
You will be screened for COVID-19 before your appointment (REMINDER EMAIL WILL BE SENT)and on the day of your appointment.
You will be required to wear a mask/face covering.
We are taking precautions for social distancing, we are limiting the number of people in our clinic space at all times. Please arrive at your appointment time and not earlier to avoid congestion.
Pharmacists will wear appropriate protective gear and so will Assistants.
Surfaces will be sanitized between visits.
All necessary infection prevention and control measures will be in place in the pharmacy and in the flu clinic.
The flu shot is publicly-funded and available in the pharmacy for people 5 years of age and older and meet the eligibility criteria:
- Adults 65 years and older
- People working with live poultry
- Indigenous peoples (on or off the reserve)
- Pregnant women
- Those from 5 years to 64 years having qualifying medical conditions
- Community essential service providers (such as firefighters, police, nurses etc)
If you come in contact with children, the elderly or anyone at high risk please ask the pharmacist if you qualify
If you do not meet the criteria for the publicly funded flu shot the cost to you will be $29.99.
