Mark your calendars for the first and third weekends in December, when the Salt Spring Farm Stand Light Up will be happening! This self-guided tour of the local farm stands that span our island’s roads has been a serious treat for the last handful of years it’s run. Such a beautiful way to support local makers, bakers, growers and creatives while getting out on your own or with your loved one(s) to experience the joy of the holidays in our community.

This year’s Meet the Maker will be held on Saturday December 14, from 12-3pm, and for farm stands participating, this is a great opportunity to say hello and get to know to the farm stand owners and chat with them about their offerings.

The Light Up Tour map is available in interactive and in printable form on https://SSIfarmstands.com for guiding your adventure. Printed paper copies are available for pick up at the Information centre, public library, craft fairs, and at various shops around the island.
