Family Adventures in Nature has returned this fall to the Blackburn Lake Nature Reserve! The program is led by Reed Osler, the Stewards in Training Coordinator, along with volunteers. These free family drop-in events will focus on a number of different nature themes from birds to bats and will include fun crafts, games and activities for you and your family. Programs are for children ages 3-12. Kids, bring your adults!

Animals of Blackburn Lake - Be a nature detective and look for animal tracks and traces, make a track to take home, play animal bingo and discover the animals of Blackburn Lake.

Sunday, October 16
Drop in from 1-4pm
Tree-rific Trees! Join us to learn all about trees through stories and fun activities, make tree rubbings and tree-spirits out of clay to take home.

Sunday, October 23
Drop in from 1-4pm
Halloween Spooktacular: Join us for fun activities busting myths about your favourite "spooky" creatures - bats, spiders, snakes and owls, oh my!
