Salish Sea Succulents began over a decade ago, and now grows thousands of plants both indoors and out. Succulents are perfect for our new climate and busy lifestyles! Plants are drought tolerant, low maintenance and come in every texture, shape and colour under the rainbow. Whether you are looking for a solution for a dry shade spot in the garden or want a low maintenance centrepiece for the house. We have succulents for you! I passionately collect, propagate, create, show, sell and garden with succulents. Come and discover what the fuss is all about. Enjoy a relaxing, creative experience, take in our ocean view, and treat yourself to a fabulous succulent experience.
Succulents for your West Coast Garden
What to Expect: 3 hours There are thousands of gorgeous succulents that will thrive in your west coast garden! Even better most prefer rocky, lean soil, infrequent watering and neglect. In return they will multiply, and return year after year, providing flowers from March – Nov that bees love! Tour the succulent green houses and outdoor succulent beds. We will discuss planting and site conditions, soil amendments, maintenance, propagation, pests and diseases and weather protection. Participants will choose either a half flat or full flat of outdoor hardy succulents to take home, plant, grow and propagate
What is included: Workshop plus nine 4-inch (half flat) hardy succulents Cost: $75
Workshop plus eighteen 4-inch pots (full flat) of hardy succulents. Cost: $110

Create your own Fall Succulent Planter
What to Expect: 3 hours Looking for an outdoor centerpiece that is low maintenance, drought tolerant, full of colour and textures that will flourish for years. Choose from hundreds of varieties of succulents to create your very own beautiful masterpiece! A large variety of planters will be available to choose from. Choose from tender or hardy succulents for sunny or shady spots. You will learn to care for those you choose. We will also briefly touch on a number of important topics including; soil, watering, feeding, maintenance and grooming, pests and diseases, shade vs. sun loving and weather protection. Participants will take their own gorgeous planter home.
What is included: Plenty of pottery, porcelain and fiberglass, planters to choose from. Succulent mix, 20 + succulents, a variety of top dressings, and a light refreshment.
Time & Date: Saturday, September 26th 10am – 1pm.

Holiday Wreath Workshop
What to Expect: 3 hours Have you ever wanted to make a beautiful, living succulent wreath? In order to have it well rooted to hang on the front door or serve as an indoor Christmas centrepiece now is the time! You will learn to create, care for and display your living masterpiece. Choose winter hardy or indoor winter friendly plants that will suit your location in order to thrive for years to come. Participants will take 16 inch succulent wreath home.
What is included: Succulent forms built pre-assembled with soil mix, moss, garden wire. 30 + succulents, floral pins and garden wire provided as well as a light refreshment.
Time & Date: Saturday October 10th, 10am – 1pm.
Create Long-Lasting Succulent Pumpkin
What to Expect: 2 hours Participants will create long lasting succulent topped pumpkins. Participants will choose from plenty of gorgeous local pumpkins, build the perfect succulent bed and load it up with beautiful succulents. Once the holiday is over, you can transfer your succulents to the garden!!
What is included: Pumpkins and Succulents!! Participants will take home their own Succulent Pumpkins
Time & Date: Saturday October 17th, 10am – 12pm
Introduction to Succulent Planters (plants for indoors or out).
What to Expect: 2 hours Choose from hundreds of varieties of succulents to make a beautiful centerpiece planter that can be enjoyed for months or years to come. A large variety of gorgeous planters will be available to choose from. You will learn how to care for tender or hardy succulents depending on which you choose. We will also briefly touch on a number of important topics including; Soil, watering, feeding, maintenance and grooming, pests and diseases, shade vs. sun loving and weather protection. Participants will take their own gorgeous planter home.
What is included: Plenty of new pottery and porcelain planters to choose from, soil mix, plants and top dressing.
Time & Date: Saturday November 7th 10am - 12noon.
Create a Holiday Succulent Centerpiece
What to Expect: 2.5 hours Create a holiday centrepiece for your own home or someone very special. Participants will learn to match right plant right place and choose from thousands of plants to create a holiday masterpiece. A number of seasonal goodies will be available to provide the perfect finishing
