Iain Duncan (sax, percussion) with organist Nick Peck and drummer Hans Verhoeven. Jazz at the Harbour House is a new, weekly live music series at the Harbour House Hotel, every Wednesday evening. Produced and hosted by Salt Spring saxophonist Iain Duncan, the series will feature local and visiting musicians playing classic jazz, sultry ballads, bossa novas, and soulful blues. April 16th features Iain on sax with organist Nick Peck, featured recently on Cellar Live records, and Nanaimo drummer Hans Verhoeven. Nick and Hans regularly back up some of the country’s finest jazz musicians when they visit the west coast. Music will run from 7-9 in Woodley’s Restaurant. In order to make this event accessible to all, the cover charge will be on a by-donation basis.
