Wednesday, May 22nd:
Iain Duncan brings some pals for a lovely evening of jazz, drink and food. Each month he curates a line-up of excellent players to bring island interpretations of a wide variety of music spanning 7 or 8 decades.

Thursday, May 23rd:
Local musicians fire it up to make up music on the spot. Options to hop up and perform, too - with an emphasis on groove and listening to the other musicians on stage verses playing your own songs with a band. Communication encouraged.

Friday, May 24th:
Salt Spring Island’s Blair Francis is a singer-songwriter, ceremonial musician, and modern-day bard who chooses to use his music and lyrics to uplift and awaken the hearts and souls of his fellow brothers and sisters all around the world. Blair’s musical journey has guided him to a place where songwriting and spirituality meet, where temples and stages blur between realities, and where catchy lyrical melodies merge with heartfelt prayer. Combining a mix of Folk, Reggae, Blues, Funk and Latin-American Medicine Music, Blair's unique offering become a fun, powerful and emotionally moving musical experience that widens hearts, opens minds, and connects souls. As a poet and songwriter Blair pulls from his unique view on the world, as well as his spiritual path, to bring forth new musical medicine songs for our emerging culture of compassion. He also draws upon an extensive collection of popular medicine songs, mantras, and rainbow chants to fill out his uplifting, engaging, and deeply nourishing musical sets.

Nostic shares his gifts as a multicultural rapper, singer, beatboxer, and producer. He aspires to hold space for celebration through creative expression and conscious messages. His intention is to create ceremony through freedom of expression by fusing cultures of music and movement.

His music is a mixture of Electronic, Peruvian Traditional music, Hip-Hop, Afro, Latin & World Music. Based in Victoria, BC, his music and performance consists of mixing original music, rapping and singing in Spanish, English and hints of Quechua; and live looping with Andean instruments such as pan flute and quena.
