    Item Description:

Thinking of taking a break from the wet and cold this winter? This year is a unique opportunity to get more out of your vacation for less. We invite you to join our Gulf Island/Nicaraguan family at our beach front lodge on the south pacific coast of Nicaragua. The lodge and location make a perfect paradise (not just saying that) features cabins perched over a secluded beach with a surf break, a sea turtle nursery, river, daily yoga, spa, beach bar, and deliciously healthy food. We are typically 100% occupied throughout the winter months, however due to bad press coming out of nicaragua (protests that did not affect our beach paradise whatsoever). We now have plenty of availability and can’t think of better people to and would like to offer a special Islander discount of 35% off our standard room rates to help you help us.
For more information about our lodge check out http://www.costadulcebeach.com or read other guests experiences at

In this digital age there has been a shift in how we relate to our physical things. It is more common to buy things than make them. It is more common to stream music than to learn an instrument. There is great satisfaction in working with your hands. If you are baking bread you know […]

This past July a mystery person using a pseudonym posted an ad on the Salt Spring Exchange, three people sent it to me, I had to know more… The first person who sent me the mystery classified ad requesting, “a photographer for a surprise proposal,” was my Mom.
