Come join us! We are fortunate to have Nick Adamson-Jones speak at the upcoming SSI garden club meeting. You'll learn about practical, science-based techniques for nurturing living soil, encouraging beneficial soil organisms, and creating thriving gardens naturally.
Healthy soil is much more than dirt—it's a vibrant, living ecosystem that supports healthy plants, conserves water, and builds resilient gardens. In this engaging 45-minute presentation, Nick will explain how the soil food web influences soil fertility and plant health. Think of the soil food web as a busy underground community. Tiny organisms feed on organic matter, larger organisms feed on them, and in the process, nutrients are released for plants to use. A healthy soil food web helps create healthy soil—and healthy plants.
Nick holds a Diploma in Permaculture and is passionate about helping build the foundation for future generations to flourish. His work centres on regenerative agriculture, community building, and fostering a deeper connection with the natural world.
Hope to see you at the meeting.
This presentation is free to Garden Club members, drop-ins are welcome for $5.
