OVERVIEW
Island Return It operates bright, clean, and well-organized recycling centres across Vancouver Island and Salt Spring Island. Our goal is simple: make recycling a genuinely positive experience so more people choose to do it. As Manager, you'll lead day-to-day operations, maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and be the driving force behind a team of 2–5 staff members.

What you'll do
+Plan, organize, and oversee all daily operations including opening and closing procedures
+Manage and motivate a small team — recruiting, training, and creating a positive work environment
+Handle cash and bank orders accurately; complete daily reports and administrative paperwork
+Implement company policies and respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and issues
+Conduct weekly pick-ups using a work truck
+Maintain clear communication with owners

Requirements:
-Valid BC driver's licence in good standing
-Forklift operator certification (training provided)
-Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
-Able to walk and stand for an 8-hour shift
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
-Honesty and integrity — non-negotiable

All final candidates will be required to provide a BC Driver's Abstract, and professional references.
