    Item Description:

Festival Nanaimo presents two beloved BC artists in a double bill matinee of spirit, humour and groove! In this special concert Ann Mortifee and Rick Scott share the stage for the first time in decades. Ann will dazzle with her 4-octave voice and songs and stories from her lifelong journey, accompanied by Ed Henderson on guitar, Mile Black on piano and Finn Maniche on cello. Infamous Pumkin folkie Rick and 28 year old keyboard ace Nico Rhodes will perform their inter-generational smorgasbord of folk, blues, jazz and swamp jam from their ROOTS & GROOVES CD. Note March 11 is the day clocks move ahead for Daylight Savings. The 2:30 start time allows for a pleasant and easy day trip from Salt Spring.
