    Item Description:

Artists From the Fringe is a group of artists who attend the grassroots program called Art Jam. The program provides a safe, welcoming space for members of our marginalized community, where they can be defined as creators and artists, rather than by the challenges they face on a daily basis. By celebrating their unique, creative accomplishments and reinforcinbg the value of their work through public exhibitions, we promote positive self-identities and help build self-esteem. Obtaining support from various community organizations and individuals has provided the ability to build bridges between our members and the rest of the community. We invite you to attend our 5th show on Salt Spring, at Wintercraft. The work will be up until Dec. 21st, and artists will be in attendance on December 10th, from 3-5pm.
Please join us and have a look at the eclectic artwork produced by these talented folks. Most of the work is small and modestly priced for gift giving. All proceeds go to the artists.
