DARK MODE: DJ D.DEE

The days are getting longer and spring is in the air—what better way to welcome the season than with a proper dance party.

A Friendly Wave is Salt Spring Island's community listening space, a volunteer-built pop-up dedicated to the art of experiencing music together. On March 7, we're welcoming Vancouver's DJ D.Dee (@pacificspirit) to the island for a night of warm house, rare disco, and soulful grooves—the kind of music that moves you without losing you.

D.Dee is co-founder of Pacific Rhythm, one of Canada's most respected underground dance music labels, with over a decade of championing a distinctly west coast sound. Opening the night is Salt Spring's own Graham Van Pelt.

This is an intimate, quality-focused evening for music and dance lovers. Our custom sound system was built specifically for nights like this one.
