Selling this 1997 Dodge Tradesman B200 Camperized Van!
I bought this van last minute off my friends who were heading back to Australia. Upon receiving the van, I have realized that it is quite the project, one which I can not take on as a student right now. It runs well and is incredibly cute. It has some amazing potential for someone who is willing to put in the work.
I just got a safety check on this van last week. I have all the papers and am happy to share all of it's quirks with you! Pretty much, it needs new front brakes, new front tires, a transmission mount and a few other things. If you are looking to fix everything, the mechanic said it will probably be about $2000-$2500. If you are handy and can do some things yourself, it will be an enjoyable project!
The van is camperized, meaning it has a beautiful counter with a sink, a portable camper stove that you can cook on, pots & pans & dishes, a fridge (amazing DOMETIC fridge worth $800).
My friends were trying to sell it for about $4500 US ($6000 CAN) with all its quirks which was just absurd. I figure that once some things are fixed, this van is probably worth $5500 or so. I am willing to knock of the $2000-2500 that it will cost to fix some of the major things and sell it for $3500 OBO.
