Mark Aston - 2017 Island Savings Board of Directors Election Candidate

Island Savings / First West Credit Union is holding its upcoming election for Board of Directors. We share this profile of Mark Aston, the local candidate running for the board. Here's a little bit about Mark; My wife, Holly and our daughters Jenna and Carlie, moved to Salt Spring 10 years ago from Vancouver to exit the busy city life and to find more balance. After 5 years I’d done enough commuting and joined Holly in our business Spark + Co. Spark + Co (www.sparkandco.ca), provides training and learning solutions to our diverse clients from large corporations, small and medium size businesses, to non-profits. While our clients are dispersed across Canada with a sprinkling of US firms, our travel is much less as we are able to work largely from home. This allows me to make more of the Old Boys soccer games, con…
