The Pilates exercise modality empowered me to live my life free of pain. Many years ago I ruptured two disks in my low back. Recovery felt like two steps forward, one back, and after a long journey, I discovered the benefits of Pilates. In 2011, with the intention of being strong and helping others be the same, I became a STOTT certified Pilates instructor, and opened a studio that ran for 6 years in the Shuswap BC. It is my joy and privilege to continue sharing this work with private reformer/mat Pilates classes at my small studio here on the Island. I expand my expertise annually through continuing education; our bodies are amazing and so responsive to how we live in them. Whether you have been doing Pilates for a long time, or you're new to this modality, I would love to chat about your life's experiences and where you would like to go from here.
