Is it time have a partial boycott of the BC Ferries? This question gets asked as the discussion with the Liberal Government regarding the cuts in service and the raising of fares has drawn a silent reply. This question gets asked because the BC Ferries are the toll road between the Gulf Islands, Vancouver Island and the mainland. This question gets asked because BC Government operates the inland lake ferry service without tolls (fares). This question gets asked because it is time for the BC Ferries to experience the pain of income reduction while the tourist industry of the Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island feels the same pain.
