Maybe it’s a hamster, a rooster, some donkeys, a dog, a new kitten or even a turtle. Our pets enrich our lives. Country Grocer’s Pet Food Department and the Salt Spring Exchange want to celebrate the Pets we love with a Photo Contest. We want you in the photo too!

So please send us a photo of you and your pet using the form below and we’ll put it up on the Salt Spring Exchange for all to see. Check back here regularly to see the approved entries as they are submitted. On Monday, June 23rd 2025, we’ll randomly choose the three winners and announce them here on the Salt Spring Exchange:

Here are this year's prizes donated by Country Grocer:

First prize: A prize for your pet and a $200 gift card for you
Second prize: A prize for your pet and a $100 gift card for you
Third Prize: A prize for your pet and a $50 gift card for you

Here are the guidelines for the 'Me & My Pet' photo contest:

- Please submit only one photo per person of one person and one pet
- Submit a recent'ish photo that you haven't previously submitted in one of our contests
- Please do not include anyone under the age of 18 in your photo, except your pet
- Please no photos that include children or minors or pets as partners
- Submit your photo no later than 12 noon on Sunday June 22nd.
- Winning photos will be randomly drawn by the Country Grocer Pet Food Team
- Winners will be announced on the Salt Spring Exchange on Monday, June 23rd.
- By submitting your photo you consent to Country Grocer and the Salt Spring Exchange to display your image
