Salt Spring All-Candidates’ Debate
On Thursday, April 21 at 1:30pm the Driftwood will present the Salt Spring All-Candidates’ Debate for the 2011 Federal Election. The riding of Saanich-Gulf Islands has received national attention in this election as a very competitive race is under way. Every vote will count, so we encourage all Salt Spring Islanders to question the candidates and hear what they have to say on the big issues facing Canada.
Thanks to a partnership with the Gulf Islands Secondary School and the Salt Spring Forum, this debate will feature some new, youthful energy as the debate has been scheduled to include all students in this important discussion about the future of our country.
